What ever happened to the Digable Planets?

Digable Planets
Back in 1993, the Digable Planets, a Grammy award-winning American alternative hip hop trio, got us bobbing our heads to cool lyrics with funky jazz grooves, infused with hip hop beats.
The trio, who consisted of Ishmael “Butterfly” Butler, Mary Ann “Ladybug Mecca” Viera and Craig “Doodlebug” Irving, parted soon after the release of their second album in 1994, citing creative differences.

Ladybug Mecca, also known as DJ Lady Mecca, released an album called “Trip The Light Fantastic” in 2005 and also started DJing.

Craig “Doodlebug” Irving, now known as Cee Knowledge, released two albums with a band called Cee Knowledge & Cosmic Funk Orchestra.

Butler established a hip hop group called Cherrywine who released an album in 2003. I found some of the songs of his Bright Black album on YouTube. I did not include any of it in this blog post because it sounded shit, as if he was on some bad trip.
