SONY MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT AFRICA IS PROUD TO ANNOUNCE THE SIGNING OF TRESOR TO ITS RCA AFRICA LABEL.

TRESOR (French for “treasure” and pronounced “Trezor”), proudly African and originally from Goma, DRC, is a singer-songwriter and producer who has just signed to
International Recording Label Sony Music Entertainment Africa under exclusive license from Vth Season Audio.

His first language is Music but he is also fluent in English, French and Swahili. Since his arrival to South Africa 7 years ago, TRESOR has been compiling songs for his debut album set for release in Spring 2015.
And now, he’s about to embark on the journey of a lifetime!  His first offering, “Mount Everest,” features AKA. The single, a fresh combination of urban, alternative music peppered with African influences, was released earlier this year.  Listen out for the Freddy Verano remix coming later this month!

As part of his major label debut, we’re releasing his new single, “Never Let Me Go,” this week.  The single was co-written and co-produced by Matthew Field from Beatenberg.

He’s penned and collaborated with some of the best selling artists in South Africa including the singing sensation ZAHARA on a Lingala ballad called ‘Limbisa’

He also wrote another track for ZAHARA titled ‘Brighter Day’ on the new multi platinum album ‘PHENDULA” which has reached triple platinum

Features AKA on his first single “Mount Everest”

Written and produced a track for Idols winner Vincent Bones
